Chelsie Klassen drives the voice of Canada’s upstream oil and natural gas industry in the media. She is the spokesperson for Canada’s largest industry association, representing member companies that produce about 80 per cent of Canada’s natural gas and crude oil. Chelsie has built her career in a variety of advocacy roles in and outside of Canada. She prides herself on personal connections that she makes along her journey and never forgets to collect local art that reminds her of places she’s visited – including an Inuvialuit jacket that she hangs in her office from her work in the Northwest Territories. She holds a Masters degree in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University and a Bachelors in Economics from University of Manitoba.
